ElectroMentors Talent Pool (EMT Pool) T&C + Candidate Resume Storage and Processing Consent

Welcome to the ElectroMentors Talent Pool (EMT Pool) platform operated by ElectroMentors Inc. (“ElectroMentors”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). The EMT Pool is a professional talent platform designed to connect qualified candidates with industry recruiters while providing career development guidance and training recommendations.

By accessing or using the EMT Pool platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the platform in any way.

ElectroMentors reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the platform with the updated effective date.

1. Purpose of the ElectroMentors Talent Pool

The EMT Pool platform is designed to:

• Allow candidates to upload resumes and professional profiles for potential employment opportunities.
• Assist candidates by recommending training courses and professional development pathways that may improve their employability.
• Enable recruiters and organizations to identify and connect with qualified candidates.
• Provide a matching system powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to help identify suitable candidate–recruiter matches.

ElectroMentors does not guarantee employment or hiring outcomes.

2. General Platform Rules

All users must:

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Use the platform in a lawful and professional manner.
• Provide accurate and truthful information.
• Avoid uploading malicious, corrupted, or harmful files.
• Respect intellectual property rights.
• Not misuse the platform for spam, fraud, or unauthorized solicitation.

ElectroMentors reserves the right to remove users, profiles, or content that violate these rules.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage

The EMT Pool platform uses AI-based tools to assist with:

• Resume analysis
• Candidate–job matching
• Skill gap identification
• Course and training recommendations

Important notes:

• AI recommendations are advisory only and may not always be accurate or complete.
• ElectroMentors does not guarantee the correctness of AI-generated insights.
• Users should independently verify information before making professional decisions.
• AI tools may analyze profile information to improve matching and recommendations.

By using EMT Pool, users consent to the use of AI-based analysis of their submitted data for platform functionality.

4. Candidate Terms

4.1 Account Registration

Candidates must:

• Provide accurate personal and professional information.
• Maintain updated contact information and career data.
• Keep login credentials secure.

Candidates are responsible for all activities associated with their account.

4.2 Resume and Document Upload

Candidates may upload resumes and related documents. Uploaded files must:

• Be free of malware or malicious code
• Not contain corrupted or insecure data
• Be submitted in the standard formats mentioned

ElectroMentors reserves the right to remove files that are corrupted, suspicious, or unsafe. Any violations may lead to account suspension.

4.3 Accuracy of Information

Candidates agree that:

• All information submitted must be true, accurate, and not misleading.
• False credentials, fabricated work history, or misrepresentation are strictly prohibited.

ElectroMentors is not responsible for verifying the authenticity of candidate information. Candidates are solely responsible for the accuracy of their submitted materials.

4.4 Resume Storage and Security

Resumes submitted to EMT Pool are stored securely and used for:

• Job Matching
• Career Analysis
• Training and other Recommendations

ElectroMentors applies reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security of digital systems. Candidates submit their materials at their own risk.

4.5 Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates agree to:

• Maintain updated resumes and profiles
• Respond professionally to inquiries
• Use the platform for legitimate career development purposes

ElectroMentors may remove inactive profiles after extended inactivity.

4.6 Training and Career Recommendations

The platform may recommend ElectroMentors training programs to improve employability. These recommendations:

• Are optional
• Do not guarantee employment outcomes
• Are based on automated analysis as well as professional insight

5. Recruiter Terms

5.1 Recruiter Access

Recruiters may use the EMT Pool to:

• Search for qualified candidates
• Review candidate profiles anonymously
• Request candidate matches

Recruiters may submit hiring inquiries to: emtpool@electromentors.com

ElectroMentors will assist recruiters with candidate matching.

5.2 Responsible Use of Candidate Information

Recruiters must:

• Use candidate information solely for legitimate hiring purposes
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate data
• Not redistribute or sell candidate information

Unauthorized use of candidate data may result in termination of recruiter access.

5.3 Hiring Responsibility

ElectroMentors is not a recruitment agency and does not guarantee hiring decisions. Recruiters are solely responsible for:

• Screening candidates
• Verifying requirements
• Conducting interviews
• Making hiring decisions

5.4 No Poaching or Misuse

Recruiters must not use the platform to:

• Collect candidate data for marketing purposes
• Send unsolicited promotional messages in case of a match
• Misuse candidate information

Violations may lead to immediate removal from the platform.

6. Platform Availability

ElectroMentors strives to maintain platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Maintenance
• Software updates
• Technical issues

ElectroMentors is not liable for service interruptions. There will be updates to the platform and payment structure as well.

7. Limitation of Liability

ElectroMentors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• Employment outcomes
• Recruiter decisions
• Inaccurate candidate information
• AI-generated recommendations
• Platform interruptions
• Data breaches beyond reasonable control

Users agree that they use the platform at their own risk.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform materials, including branding, system architecture, training recommendations, AI models and matching tools remain the intellectual property of ElectroMentors Inc. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or reverse-engineer any platform component without permission.

9. Privacy

ElectroMentors collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Information collected may include:

• Resumes
• Professional background and experience
• Education and skills
• Contact information

Data is used to:

• Facilitate candidate-recruiter matching
• Generate training and other educational and professional recommendations
• Improve platform functionality

10. Account Suspension or Termination

ElectroMentors reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice that:

• Violate these Terms
• Submit fraudulent information
• Upload malicious files
• Misuse candidate data

11. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless ElectroMentors Inc., its CEO, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from:

• Misuse of the platform
• Inaccurate information submitted by users
• Violation of these Terms

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of: The Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

ElectroMentors Talent Pool (EMT Pool)

By uploading a resume or creating a candidate profile on the EMT Pool platform, you agree to the following consent terms.

2. Consent to AI-Based Resume Analysis

I understand that ElectroMentors uses artificial intelligence tools to analyze resumes and identify potential career opportunities and skill gaps.

I consent to my resume and professional data being processed by such automated systems. I understand that AI-generated insights are advisory only and may not be fully accurate.

3. Sharing Information with Recruiters

I understand that my resume or profile information may be shared with recruiters anonymously when:

• My profile matches hiring criteria
• Recruiters request suitable candidates
• ElectroMentors identifies potential employment opportunities

ElectroMentors does not guarantee employment outcomes.

4. Accuracy of Information

I confirm that the information provided in my resume and profile is true, accurate, and not misleading. I acknowledge that submitting false or misleading information may result in:

• Removal from the platform
• Termination of my account

5. File Upload Responsibility

I confirm that any files I upload:

• Are free of malware or malicious code
• Are not corrupted or harmful
• Do not violate intellectual property rights

ElectroMentors may remove unsafe files.

6. Data Retention

I understand that my information may remain stored in the EMT Pool platform for the purpose of career matching and professional development recommendations. I may request deletion of my profile at any time by contacting: emtpool@electromentors.com

7. Voluntary Participation

Participation in the ElectroMentors Talent Pool is voluntary. I understand that:

• ElectroMentors does not guarantee employment
• Recruiters independently evaluate candidates

8. Agreement

By submitting my resume or creating a profile on the EMT Pool platform, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this consent statement and agree to its terms.
